Remove as much paint left on the sleeve as possible. Water-based – Wash with warm soapy water and then rinse well with clean, warm water until the paint is completely removed. Oil-based – Use a thinner, see paint manufacturers instructions for recommendations, and pour into a small container to avoid using excess thinner. Rinse the thinner to remove any residue that may be left.
