WaterChef CR70 Countertop Filter Replacement Cartridge is NSF/ANSI certified and features Big Block carbon filtration technology to provide superior reduction for a broad range of common tap water contaminants and a 1,000 gallon capacity per cartridge. For most households, that means just one cartridge to replace annually. Tested and certified against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chloramine, chlorine taste and odor, and nominal particulate class I; NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for the reduction of cysts, lead, mercury, VOC and MTBE; and Standard 401 for emergining contaminants. The CR70 replacement cartridge is compatible with WaterChef C7000 Countertop Water Filtration Systems and includes a battery to power Intelligent Monitor.
