With its built in USB charge tab, there is no need for a cord to recharge the light. Multiple modes for White C4 LED: High produces 70-lumens, runs 3.5 hours; Low produces 10-lumens, runs 24 hours. Red LED modes: High produces 0.5-lumens, runs 16 hours; Low produces 0.2-lumens, runs 65 hours. Push button switch cycles through low, high and off. Button is held to change from white LED to red LED. Use the Red LED to preserve night vision.
