This Schluter Systems membrane is a sealing material for your Ditra-Heat heating cable system. Its polypropylene design protects the substrate from moisture infiltration so that the wiring is always dry and operational. The built-in thermal cutoff reduces heat loss to the substrate to improve the floor warming response time over concrete by up to 70%. The membrane acts as a flexible layer between the tile and the rigid subfloor, reducing the risk of breakage and grout problems. The free space on the bottom of the membrane allows moisture and excessive vapours to escape, avoiding any damage to the system. Its unique and flexible construction eliminates the need for a levelling compound, meaning installation is quick and easy. One membrane sheet covers up to 8.6 sq. ft.
