The Convert allows you to enter your home using your phone and the motorized deadbolt locks with just the push of a button. It uses your existing deadbolt and turns it into a smart lock in minutes, no hardwiring needed. Your current lock’s exterior hardware stays the same – no additional installation required. The exterior appearance and style of your front door remains unchanged and you can still use your original key from your existing deadbolt to lock/unlock your door as a backup. Users have an additional option that includes turning on automatic door locking after 30 seconds. Kwikset Convert is compatible with most Kwikset, Weiser, Baldwin Prestige, Baldwin Reserve, Baldwin Estate, and Schlage standard deadbolts.
